A few things you may be wondering.
How many solar panels will I need?
There is no single answer for every home. Your energy use, available roof area, shading, budget and network requirements all matter. A site-specific assessment helps determine an appropriate system size.
Can a battery be added later?
It may be possible, but future compatibility should be considered now. The existing inverter, electrical installation and chosen battery determine whether extra equipment or upgrades are needed.
Does a battery provide backup power?
Only when suitable equipment and backup circuits are included in the design. A standard grid-connected installation does not automatically keep the whole home powered during an outage.
